About Melissa Gray

Prior to launching her own public relations practice, Melissa spent 18 years in corporate public relations and marketing. Her experience spans from a regional non-profit that tugged at her heartstrings, to a corporate giant that challenged her daily. The diversity of her background has provided her with a wealth of insight and experience with businesses of all types and sizes. She has experienced it all, from being on the frontline of a public relations crisis to helping launch multi-million dollar brands.

As Melissa’s career progressed, one common denominator emerged with every effort that fell into the success column — compelling content that told a captivating story. Whether it was a client success story communicated in the form of a case study, or an innovative new product launch announced with a video campaign, each moment of storytelling created an opportunity to engage the audience and humanize the brand. This is the foundation on which Melissa Gray Public Relations was built.

Melissa holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Journalism from Syracuse University, earned through Utica College of Syracuse University and its prestigious Raymond Simon Institute.
